Rula Backos
Rula is a professional actress, poet and playwright. Performing solo as well as acting with companies in Summer Stock, Dinner Theater, "Off-Off" Broadway, National Touring Shows , Commercials and College and Regional Theater. She is a member of Actors Equity and Screen Actors Guild. Rula holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and has an M.F.A in Interdisciplinary Arts. "Method" trained under the tutelage of Lee Strasberg, Rula continues the acting tradition as acting instructor for Arts-In-Education programs, New York Council on the Arts, Artist in Residence, Kids College and Theater Director for Scenes snd Song Productions. Rula also performs her one-woman show, "Sacred Monsters" for Colleges, Theaters and women's groups.
Lauren Law (accompanist)
Lauren Law returns to Enchante' after a six-month hiatus to battle breast cancer. She has been with the company for 5 years now and her past experience with community theatres, education programs and playing for numerous churches throughout Louisiana and New York have made her an asset to Enchante'. She is married to Dan Law of Salamanca, New York and has three grown children, three grandsons, and a new grandchild on the way. She has her Masters degree in Business Management and when she's not busy with Enchante' touring she is facilitating online classes for a school based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. She enjoys playing piano, singing, writing music, reading avidly, visiting with friends...and most of all loving her family.
